MARKET MOVERS 📈

It’s been a crazy week so far during the NFL offseason. Which moves have led to noteworthy odds shifts for Super Bowl futures at Fanatics Sportsbook 👀?

Star running backs switching teams has been one of the headliners during this free-agency period so far.

Landing Derrick Henry immediately shifted the Ravens’ price from +900 to +850, where they’re only behind the 49ers (+550) and Chiefs (+650).

The Eagles 🦅 originally rose from +1700 to +1900 due to roster turnover keyed by Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce’s retirements, but first slightly improved to +1800 after adding Saquon Barkley and now are down to +1600.

The Packers were sitting at +2200 before making a big splash to their backfield by acquiring Josh Jacobs. Green Bay is now positioned at +2000, even with last year’s starting tailback Aaron Jones off to Minnesota.

Joe Mixon wasn’t the only addition responsible for the Texans’ swing from +2500 to +2300, as Houston shoring up its defense also played a part in the move.

The most drastic odds shift from this week, though, came from the biggest quarterback acquisition. The Falcons are hoping 🙏 that Kirk Cousins is the missing piece to their offense, and betting markets are bullish that he is. Atlanta’s Super Bowl odds changed from +4000 to +3000 after nabbing Cousins, while Minnesota’s first jumped up from +5000 to +6500 and rose again to +7500.

EXPERT PICKS

Looking to start your weekend on a high note? Ariel Epstein and Ryan Elmalem have three NBA player props to target.

THE PROP QUEEN

Heat G Terry Rozier Over 22.5 Points + Assists (-125) [7 p.m. ET]
“Since joining the Heat, Rozier is averaging 19 points and 7 assists in games without Tyler Herro against defenses that struggle defending the paint. Guess what? The Pistons allow the fifth-most points in the paint.”
Nuggets C Nikola Jokic Over 8.5 Assists (-140), Sprinkle on Triple Double (+155) [8:30 p.m. ET]
“The last time Jokic faced the Spurs he was one assist away from a triple double. He averages 9.4 assists per game against bottom-10 teams defending the paint with a healthy Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. The Spurs allow the fourth-most points in the paint.”

THE GRAPHICS GUY

Raptors F Kelly Olynyk Under 6.5 Rebounds (-115) [7:30 p.m. ET]
“The Raptors are down several key players, so you’d think the rebounds have to go somewhere. However, Toronto has been getting cooked on the boards of late and Olynyk has only grabbed 7+ boards in two of his last 10 games. He faces a touch Magic team that is the top defensive rebounding team in the NBA.”

BACK TO SCHOOL 🏫

This market is available to bet at Fanatics Sportsbook in Virginia, Colorado, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Ohio, Maryland, Tennessee, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Vermont, Michigan, Indiana, New York, North Carolina and Iowa.

March is in full swing 🥳, with the most exciting tournament in sports starting next week. Here are the teams that Fanatics Sportsbook bettors think will be cutting down the nets in April.

In terms of most popular title bets by tickets, Connecticut is the only team with a double-digit mark at 17.9%. In fact, the Huskies have nearly twice as many tickets as the next-closest team, Houston at 9.0%.

Despite its gaudy lead in tickets, UConn ranks second in title handle 💵 at 17.3%. That’s because Tennessee has come away with an astounding 27.9% of the handle thus far to win it all.

The Volunteers rank fourth in tickets at 8.2%, however Dalton Knecht and Co. have drawn a few major wagers. That is highlighted by a $20,328.60 wager on Tennessee at +1300 for a potential total payout of $284,600.40.

After Tennessee and UConn, Houston (8.5%), Kentucky (7.7%) and North Carolina (6.04%) finish out the top 5 in handle. Purdue is the only team in the top 5 in tickets (third at 8.4%) that isn’t in the top 5 in handle (sixth at 6.03%).

AWARD TOUR

ACTION REPORT 📊

This market is available to bet at Fanatics Sportsbook in Virginia, Colorado, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Ohio, Maryland, Tennessee, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Vermont, Michigan, Indiana, New York, North Carolina and Iowa.

Opening Day ⚾ is two weeks away, so let’s check out the latest MLB award futures action at Fanatics Sportsbook.

The Orioles (+1200) haven’t just been a popular bet for World Series futures, where they’re fist in tickets at 17.4%. Two Orioles players have received the most bets to win awards as well, with Corbin Burnes (+900) taking home 22.7% of the AL Cy Young wagers and Jackson Holliday (+300) collecting 27.9% of AL Rookie of the Year bets.

The one major award where an Oriole isn’t the top ticket-getter is AL MVP, where Seattle’s Julio Rodriguez (+1000) at 19.4% has the edge over second-place Gunnar Henderson (+2000) at 14.6%. Rodriguez is dominating in handle for the accolade at 32.3%—the second-highest percentage for any MLB awards market at Fanatics Sportsbook.

If you were curious about who ranks No. 1 in that category, it’s NL Cy Young favorite Spencer Strider (+550). Atlanta’s ace has corralled 37.4% of the handle for the award 😮, more than four times the next-closest pitcher (Justin Steele, who is +1800, at 9.1%). Strider is also first in tickets for NL Cy Young at 20.1%.

There has been quite notable NL MVP action, including a longshot receiving the most bets. Elly De La Cruz has drawn 19.8% of the tickets despite standing all the way at +7000. Bettors are also buying a bounce-back campaign for Fernando Tatis Jr. (+1100), evidenced by him leading in handle at 20.1%. Interestingly, Shohei Ohtani (+700) has not drawn massive NL MVP interest 🤔 since his move to the Dodgers, winding up with 7.8% of the tickets (tied for sixth) and only 3.6% of the handle (seventh).
