It’s been a crazy week so far during the NFL offseason. Which moves have led to noteworthy odds shifts for Super Bowl futures at Fanatics Sportsbook 👀?
Star running backs switching teams has been one of the headliners during this free-agency period so far.
Landing Derrick Henry immediately shifted the Ravens’ price from +900 to +850, where they’re only behind the 49ers (+550) and Chiefs (+650).
The Eagles 🦅 originally rose from +1700 to +1900 due to roster turnover keyed by Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce’s retirements, but first slightly improved to +1800 after adding Saquon Barkley and now are down to +1600.
The Packers were sitting at +2200 before making a big splash to their backfield by acquiring Josh Jacobs. Green Bay is now positioned at +2000, even with last year’s starting tailback Aaron Jones off to Minnesota.
Joe Mixon wasn’t the only addition responsible for the Texans’ swing from +2500 to +2300, as Houston shoring up its defense also played a part in the move.
The most drastic odds shift from this week, though, came from the biggest quarterback acquisition. The Falcons are hoping 🙏 that Kirk Cousins is the missing piece to their offense, and betting markets are bullish that he is. Atlanta’s Super Bowl odds changed from +4000 to +3000 after nabbing Cousins, while Minnesota’s first jumped up from +5000 to +6500 and rose again to +7500.
