UNLV +120 vs. Boise State [3 p.m. ET]
You don’t see a team with an interim head coach make its conference championship very often, but that’s the case here with Boise State 😮. The Broncos fired Andy Avalos with the team at 5-5 and have rallied around interim Spencer Danielson by winning both games under him. But should we be drinking the Kool-Aid after victories over Utah State (all six wins against teams with losing records or FCS) and a spiraling Air Force (four straight losses, played with third-string QB vs. Boise)?
Boise still has a one-dimensional offense led by star tailback Ashton Jeanty, but UNLV’s defense has been far more vulnerable this season against the pass compared to the run. On the flip side, UNLV’s offense is much more balanced and has a rising superstar ⭐ playcaller in OC Brennan Marion who will attack Boise’s subpar secondary. UNLV has exceeded the market’s expectations all season long with a 10-2 ATS record, and I think the Rebels do it once again in their first MWC Championship ever.
