There’s still a little over two months before the NFL season kicks off. To help speed up the timeline, we’re starting daily NFL betting reports. We’ll be highlighting the action for individual teams in four Hustles per week, sorting them out by division.
There aren’t many teams getting more offseason hype than the Jets ✈️, but how has that translated into betting action thus far?

PERUSING THE PLAYERS
Aaron Rodgers originally was tied for the 10th-lowest MVP odds at +2200. Now the first-year Jets signal-caller is tied for seventh at +1400, as he’s racked up 7.5% of the tickets (5th) and 7.3% of the handle (6th) for this market.
Going from Zach Wilson to Rodgers is a sizable upgrade, and many clients are bullish on second-year wideout Garrett Wilson because of it. Wilson has drawn the most handle (25.5%) to win Offensive Player of the Year, with his odds going from a +3300 opener to as low as +1200 to now settling in at +2000.
TRADER’S TAKE: “Although new Jets OC Nathaniel Hackett’s recent HC stint in Denver did not meet expectations, his reunion with Rodgers should be much smoother. The two California natives meshed incredibly well in Green Bay, highlighted by Rodgers’ two MVPs. In both seasons, the Packers ranked top-five in yards per pass attempt; the team placed 20th in the same metric the season before Hackett arrived.”
