Brock Purdy is currently -210 to win NFL MVP, the first time a player has been an odds-on favorite for the award ๐ this season.
Purdy and George Kittle, however, have both said that 49ers teammate Christian McCaffrey deserves to be MVP. McCaffrey swung from +2200 to +1400 for MVP after his three-touchdown effort against the Cardinals, and he now has the fifth-lowest odds on the board.
So what do bettors think ๐ค?
Since Sunday, McCaffrey has received the most MVP bets with 24.1% of the tickets, followed by Purdy with 20.7% of the tickets. Purdy, though, has captured 62.7% of the MVP handle ๐ต while McCaffrey has only collected 6.34%. McCaffrey isnโt even second in handle in that stretch, as heโs also behind Josh Allenโs 10.4%, Dak Prescottโs 8.3% and Lamar Jacksonโs 8.2%.
