Michigan State has a lot of ingredients for a major March run — an experienced backcourt, a top-10 recruiting class and a coach we can trust.
2. Maryland (+5000) 10.1%
How about this longshot π€? Three starters are back from last yearβs tournament team, including senior PG Jahmir Young. Young had a strong debut campaign in College Park (15.8 PPG, 3.1 APG) after transferring from Charlotte.
3. Kansas (+1000) 7.5%
The Jayhawks originally were tied for the third-lowest title odds at +1600, but are now on top of the odds board after landing a major piece in former Michigan star β Hunter Dickinson.
4. Gonzaga (+2500) 6.7%
Gonzaga has a much higher price than weβre used to seeing to start the season, though Saint Maryβs (+5000) was actually voted as the top team in the WCC preseason poll.
5. Purdue (+1200) 5.6%
